Summer is over

Congress is on recess, the President just got back from vacation, and NSU has started classes.

It must be SEPTEMBER!

Before we delve into any of the important topics that face our nation, let's take a second to pay tribute to Ted Kennedy.

Senator Kennedy was able out live his more famous brothers and end up earning the title "The Lion of the Senate." The Kennedy clan has been to referred to as "Camelot" or "America's royal family". They've no doubt played a major role in shaping modern America.

What is your favorite Kennedy moment/sphere of influence?

  1. Not a favorite moment, but an amusing take on a tragic moment:

  2. My favorite part of the Kennedy's would have to be with Rosemary.

I am a great supporter of the Special Olympics, but the reasoning why is a little odd. First, I applaud Eunice for her desire to wave her older sister's flag. I applaud JFK for pushing the public act 194-92 through. Wave that flag JFK. I even applaud the little that Ed Kennedy, especially with his son being physically disabled as well.

But what about Rosemary? She was tucked back in Wisconsin for 60 years in a child-no infantile state while the rest of her family lived in Massachusetts. And even more so, she is at the frontline of the 'Kennedy curse' for whoever believes in it.
What would have happened if Joe had just accepted her as she was? Whether it was severe mood swings or depression, we'll never know, but her life would have been drastically different if her family had accepted her.
